Dissolution

Not everything that comes apart is being destroyed.

Champagne gold particles scatter against absolute darkness — a universe being born, or dying, or both. The distinction, at some point, stops mattering. Beauty is what happens in the space between structure and surrender.

We spend so much of our lives trying to keep our shape. And then, one day, the shape softens on its own. Not because we failed. Because something in us was ready.

This piece isn’t asking you to hold everything together.

It’s asking you to consider what might be waiting for you on the other side of a graceful undoing.

What in your life is asking to soften — not because it is broken, but because it is finished being what it was?
