The Space Between Reaction and Regulation

The Migration
“Movement is one of the oldest forms of hope.
Sweeping forms move across the canvas. Earth tones. Scale. No individual figures, and yet the sense of many. This is migration — not as a headline, but as one of the most human things there is: creatures, of every kind, moving toward what they need in order to live.
Every life includes migrations. Some geographic. Some emotional. The friendship you left. The identity you outgrew. The version of yourself that could not stay in that room any longer. We are constantly, quietly, moving toward something more livable.
This painting isn’t about someone else’s journey.
It’s about the migrations you have already made.
What internal migration have you completed recently — and have you let yourself name the courage it took?”
