The Space Between Reaction and Regulation

Joy as Language
“Joy is a language everyone was born knowing.
Bodies move together. Community is made visible through rhythm and shared celebration. There is nothing being explained. Nothing being sold. Only the ancient human practice of standing in a circle and letting the body speak what the mouth cannot always say.
We forget, in adult life, how much of what heals us actually lives inside the body. Long conversations help, but sometimes what a nervous system truly needs is a rhythm it can move to, a group it can move with, and permission to be, for a moment, less alone.
This image isn’t about dance.
It’s about the joy your body already knows how to speak.
When did you last let your body say something your words could not — and what was it trying to release?”
