These Terms govern your relationship with Nirva Life, the platform you are currently reading and using. They are written to be readable, but every clause is intended to be legally sound. Please take the time to read them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Nirva Life (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least eighteen years old to use Nirva Life. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. What Nirva Life is
Nirva Life is an educational wellness platform. Through the Service we offer articles, essays, learning paths, self-assessments, journaling prompts, audio content, and a companion practice environment called I’mPossible.
Nirva Life is not a medical provider, therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, psychologist, or any other kind of licensed mental-health, medical, or emergency service. Nothing on the Service is a substitute for professional care.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@nirvalife.com.
You agree to give us accurate information when you sign up and to keep that information current.
4. Intellectual property
All content on Nirva Life — including articles, essays, audio, video, illustrations, the NIRVA Method®, the NSI Framework™, the Nervous System Intelligence™ body of work, and the underlying software — is owned by Nirva Life or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You may access and read the content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written permission from Nirva Life.
5. Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful conduct.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or any of its infrastructure.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract content or data from the Service by automated means without our written permission.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Upload or transmit any material that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringing.
6. Educational content — not medical advice
The Service is educational. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental-health condition. It is not a substitute for professional evaluation or care.
If you are in crisis, or believe you may be, please contact emergency services in your country or a qualified healthcare provider immediately. Do not use Nirva Life for emergency support.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nirva Life disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information obtained through the Service is accurate, complete, or reliable.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nirva Life and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
In no event will the aggregate liability of Nirva Life exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Nirva Life in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) one hundred United States dollars.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nirva Life and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debts arising from (i) your use of the Service, (ii) your violation of these Terms, or (iii) your violation of any third-party right.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by writing to support@nirvalife.com. We may suspend or terminate your account, at our discretion, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we are required to do so by law.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and Nirva Life agree that any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify account holders by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
