Body Map Trends

Somatic history at a glance — where the story lives in the body.

What It Reveals

Emotion is never only in the mind. Body Map Trends shows the somatic geography of your experience over time — the chest tightening that keeps returning, the throat closing on Sundays, the softening as regulation is restored.

For You

You begin to trust the body as a first informant. Sensations stop being random and become legible. And you notice, without anyone telling you, that the tightness in your jaw is starting to be somewhere else.

For Your Clinician

A clinician has language for what the client can’t always describe. Somatic history — heat maps of where the story lives — becomes a shared reference point. Interventions become somatically informed, not only cognitively aimed.

In Practice

A client says, "I don’t know what’s wrong. I just feel bad." The Body Map shows six months of activation concentrated in the throat and stomach. "When did this start?" the clinician asks. Together they trace it back to something the client hadn’t known was still being carried.
