International Partnerships

Long-term relationships with cultural institutions across every continent — shared programming, shared archives, shared care for the artists we induct.

The Annual International Exhibition

A once-a-year global exhibition that brings the archive into physical space, hosted by a different partner institution in a different city each year.

Artist Grants & Fellowships

Direct financial support for the artists whose practice deserves years of protected time. Application-based, jury-selected, unconditional in spirit.

Traveling Exhibitions

Curated selections from the archive that move through galleries and cultural centres in cities the archive is not usually seen in. Free to attend wherever possible.

Educational Programs

Masterclasses, artist-in-residence weeks, and open workshops led by the artists in the archive — held both online and in partner cities.

The Digital Archive

A permanent, open, well-preserved digital archive of every work, artist, and exhibition IPA has ever held. Kept for the record, and for the future.
