Center for Nervous System Intelligence Research™

Where curiosity becomes discovery.

The Center for Nervous System Intelligence Research exists in the space between curiosity and discovery.

Its purpose is to deepen our understanding of how human beings experience the world through their nervous system.

This Center explores the biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors that shape perception, emotion, behavior, relationships, and health.

Rather than studying one discipline in isolation, the Center brings together discoveries from neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, medicine, behavioral science, immunology, physiology, education, and other fields to build a more complete understanding of human experience.

Research here does not exist simply to answer scientific questions. It exists to ask better ones — because every meaningful discovery has the potential to change the way we understand ourselves, and ultimately, the way we care for one another.

Guiding Principle

Every field explains part of the story.Nervous System Intelligence seeks to understand the whole.
