The Nirva Method is the formalised version of pattern recognition in daily practice. Each step is supported by adjacent evidence bases; together they form a repeatable sequence that meets a running pattern where it is.

Notice

Interoceptive awareness. Something in body or attention has shifted; the observing mind has arrived.10,12,91


§ 2

Interrupt

A small, immediate bottom-up move — breath, orienting, contact — to shift the autonomic state that is currently running the interpretation.148,26

Identify

Naming the pattern in third-person, present tense. The shift from identity to observed sequence.94,76


§ 4

Regulate

Deeper autonomic settling. Longer exhales, contact, co-regulation where available.26,19


§ 5

Validate

Genuine acknowledgment of what the pattern was protecting. Not endorsement of the pattern; recognition of the intelligence that installed it.144


§ 6

Align

Choosing the intentional response consistent with current values and current context. This is the move from automatic to Aligned Perspective in the Four Perspectives model.93
