Most critically, measurement cannot know what a specific reaction meant inside a specific life. It can tell you that your heart rate increased, but not whether that increase was fear or excitement, preparation or panic. It can tell you that you scored high on avoidant attachment, but not what it cost you to develop that strategy, or what it would cost you to let it go. The data offers directions, not conclusions. Any use of measurement that pretends otherwise misuses the tool.
The Difference Between Signal and Noise

Measurement as Collaboration
