Internal Comparison
Cream tones side-by-side.
The top swatch is the tone we removed (previously called bg-parchment). The second is the tone currently on every ivory section of the site. Below are three lighter/cooler options if the current one still reads too warm to you.
REMOVED
Old bg-parchment
#F4EDD9
The tone I retargeted last time — you said "too yellow".
CURRENT
bg-ivory (also now bg-parchment)
#F7F3EC
The single cream currently used site-wide.
OPTION · COOLER
Cooler alabaster
#F6F3EE
One notch cooler / less warm than current ivory.
OPTION · NEUTRAL
Warm off-white
#F8F5F0
A touch brighter, closer to warm off-white.
OPTION · PURE
Near-paper
#FAF8F4
The most paper-like — almost no warmth.
My read on this: The tone I removed (#F4EDD9) was distinctly yellow. The one currently in use (#F7F3EC) is a genuinely cooler cream — closer to antique paper than to butter. But side-by-side under different light, the difference is subtle. If it still reads warm to you, one of the three "OPTION" swatches below could take its place site-wide with a single-line change.
